Maverick Marketing Co. was founded by Brandon Diaz, an award-winning communications and marketing professional with extensive experience leading high-impact strategies across both the public and private sectors. Brandon holds a Master of Science in Marketing from Florida International University, where he graduated cum laude.
Currently serving as Communications and Marketing Manager for the City of South Miami, Brandon leads enterprise-wide communications, branding, and digital strategy—advising executive leadership, overseeing multi-channel campaigns, and driving community engagement through data-driven decision-making. Prior to this role, he served as Executive Director of the Miami-Dade Republican Party, Project Manager at Enlace Digital, and Marketing and Digital Specialist for the Town of Miami Lakes, where he significantly expanded digital reach and secured over $90,000 in sponsorships.
As President of Maverick Marketing Co., Brandon provides strategic marketing and communications consulting to public and private sector clients, specializing in digital strategy, brand development, and analytics. He is also the founder of On the Water Daily, a lifestyle brand with over 75,000 followers, where he has built a thriving digital community through content strategy, brand partnerships, and event marketing.
Brandon’s work has earned industry recognition, including the 2021 GMFEA Best Digital Marketing Campaign award. His expertise spans digital marketing, brand strategy, social media, public relations, data analysis, sponsorship acquisition, event marketing, and bilingual communications. He is proficient in both English and Spanish and holds multiple certifications in digital advertising, analytics, and marketing technologies.
